Welcome to the beginning of my series, Sunday Summaries! Every Sunday I will be sharing things I have loved this week. So without further ado, let’s wrap up my week together.
First off, fashion
Recently, I have been on the hunt to expand my supply of going out clothes to transcend the freshman year of college crop tops and basic jeans. Here are some pieces from my likes on The RealReal that I have been loving (please buy these before I do). The key here was looking for some great timeless and classy, yet in trend options for our mid twenties extravaganzas.
A quick reminder that at the end of the day, you can buy second hand all you want in hopes of being sustainable, but true sustainability is investing in pieces that are timeless and will last you for years.
All in the details
Something I have been focusing on when second hand shopping is paying attention to the microscopic details. A way to make your closet more fun but still wearable is collecting pieces with unique cuts, elements, and fabrics. Instead of buying a plain black belt, make it suede, or replace your basic pointed kitten heel for a square one. You don’t have to be basic with a black tank top either, instead look for asymmetrical cuts. I love all of these second hand pieces because from a quick glance they may seem neutral, although when investigating further, they each have an element of personal style.
Metallics, Mesh, Lace, Suede and The Mixing of it All
We have seen all over Paris Fashion Week Fall 2024 the continuance of metallics, mesh, lace and suede. How this transcends into day to day wear is always a bit diminished. Although, adding bits of these elements into an outfit provides the pizzazz and trendiness you could be searching for.

Pinterest pinnacles

Put on my listening ears
Post Modern Fade by Cottonwood Firing Squad— just trust.
In Dreams by Sierra Ferrell— this fills me with that wonderfully rare feeling of falling madly, freely, irresistibly into love.
Everything I Know About Love: A Memoir by Dolly Alderton— I love listening to this while doing laundry, cleaning my room, or in the car when I am tired of my music. It makes even the most mundane of tasks interesting.
That’s a wrap!
If you have made it to the end of this, I hope I inspired you or you gained something from me in some way or another. Happy easter and have a great start to your week!
Your’s truly,
Kami
